Courtney Galyan

Courtney Galyan is a Principal and Partner in meta CRE a tenant-specialized development and brokerage company with a focus on retail tenant representation and development as well as a partner in Noah’s Ark Storage & Resolute Ventures Group, with a focus on RE investment, development, & acquisitions.

Courtney began his real estate career with Gershman Brown Crowley, and was the Vice President of Development, overseeing more than 25 CVS development projects throughout New England. Eventually, Courtney furthered his entrepreneurial spirit by becoming a multi-unit franchise owner for Marco’s Pizza with 12 locations throughout the Indianapolis market. After the sale of his company, Courtney continued his real estate profession becoming a commercial RE broker at ALO Property Group and then CBRE as an Asset Manager & Tenant Retail Advisor at CBRE specializing in brokerage, development services, & client management with a strong focus in tenant representation and land development.

In 2020 Courtney partnered up with Jon Jurhs, Michael Cranfill, & Tom English and established metaCRE, a highly specialized commercial real estate brokerage firm whose mission is focused on the highest level of client management & quality of services.

In 2019, Courtney became interested in self-storage and started Noah’s Ark Storage by partnering with Jon Clark. Eventually, this relationship evolved into what is now Resolute Ventures Group, a self-storage acquisition, development, and investment company focused on highly stabilized markets throughout the Midwest and Southeast.

Jon Jurhs

Owner

Jon began his career in the tech industry in Southern California working for successful startups and eventually Cisco Systems. With fun in the sun under his belt, he relocated home to West Michigan to be closer to family. Jon then joined a boutique real estate development and management firm. During his tenure there he managed the leasing for a 1,000,000 sf portfolio focusing primarily on retail and downtown restaurants and was involved in all aspects of the business including acquisitions, development, historic rehabs, leasing marketing, and property management.

In 2015, Jon relocated with his wife Rebecca to Carmel, Indiana, to get closer to Rebecca’s family, and expand his real estate purview. He joined Indy’s leading boutique retail brokerage and property management firm, Sitehawk Retail Real Estate. Sitehawk’s prominence in the industry led their acquisition by CBRE. During Jon’s time at Sitehawk/CBRE he leased a 3,000,000 sf portfolio of shopping centers and placed up to 25 tenant rep assignments annually.

In 2020 Jon left CBRE along with Courtney Galyan and Michael Cranfill to join forces with Tom English launching metaCRE; a full service commercial real estate brokerage firm focused on “overservicing” a few select clients and offering asset management for other investors and developers.

Jon’s real estate practice has equipped him with countless hours of experience and knowledge of; market analysis, site selection, lease negotiations, and retail property development, for both build-to-suit and acquisition and redevelopment.

Resolute Ventures Group, a self storage acquisition and development company was born out of the principals in metaCRE expressing an interest in a new property type for diversification while using skills developed in our respective brokerage and development careers. Resolute is actively acquiring existing facilities and development opportunities in markets around the Midwest and Southeast US.

Underpinning all his experience is Jon’s relentless pursuit for the highest possible outcomes in all aspects of business, relationships, and faith, until they become a present tense reality.

Thomas English

Owner

Thomas English began his real estate career as a broker with CB Richard Ellis. While there, English worked exclusively in retail, including tenant representation, land sales, shopping center leasing and multi-location disposition. With a growing passion for all aspects of the retail real estate business, English left the firm to begin looking for new opportunities to further develop his retail expertise.

Finding promising opportunity in the development sector, English and another broker partnered to create Maquina Realty Corporation, a real estate firm specializing in retail projects. Together, the duo completed $30 million in acquisition and development projects, creating name recognition and reputation in the retail development world.

With years of industry experience, from brokerage to development to acquisition under his belt, English made the decision to venture out on his own to create Thomas English Retail Real Estate. From its inception in 2004, the company has grown significantly, developing and acquiring over 85 properties across the US with 1,000,000+ SF valued in excess of $350,000,000.

In 2020 English joined forces with Courtney Galyan, Jon Jurhs and Michael Cranfill to start metaCRE a full service commercial real estate broker focused on “overservicing” a few select clients and offering asset management for other investors and developers.

Mr English has 27 years of industry experience and is a member of several professional and industry groups, including the International Council of Shopping Centers, and Urban Land Institute.

When not working to expand his business, Tom stays very busy with his 3 children, Chloe, Claire and Cagan.

Jon Clark

Owner

Jon has spent the past three years as the head of operations for the Noah’s Ark Storage and Resolute Ventures Group portfolios. Relatively new to the commercial real estate realm, Jon Clark brings a unique set of skills and experience to our team. A long time college assistant and head high school football coach, Jon brings a great deal of leadership, management, and organizational skills to our team that are fresh and energetic.
During his tenure in the coaching profession Jon became known for his attention to details, his passion and vision for growth, and for his ability to lead large groups successfully toward a common goal. As a head coach in Kentucky, “Coach Clark” orchestrated one of the biggest turn arounds in state history by taking a team that had won 3 games in the previous four years to a state finals appearance in short order. He walked off the sideline after 11 years boasting a top tier team that was well respected across the state, while also being regarded as one of the best in developing collegiate level players during that same timeframe. Those skills have transferred well into the commercial real estate world as Jon now works directly with our management teams daily.
As the head of operations, Jon has successfully built a management team from the ground up that has been able to meet the needs of our quickly growing portfolio. In less than one years time has constructed a team and put procedures in place to successfully manage 424,000+ NRSF in 1,480 units across two states.
In addition to his operational duties, Jon works alongside all departments within our organization. He continually assists in all aspects of development, acquisitions, finance, construction, marketing, and planning. Jon resides in Richmond, KY with his wife Erica Clark and their children Cate and Cole. In his free time he can be found training his kids, catching a ball game, or playing fetch with one of their three dogs.
